To carry out basic and applied research, data interpretation, predictive and prescriptive forecast by adopting quantitative methods and analytical tools for effective and efficient governance, project / program management and e-governance projects concept, design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and performance assessment of progress to support short term and long term planning in the state
To provide support to government on certain specific sectoral domains - public finance, human resource management, health, education, agriculture, welfare services, industrial policy, urban development etc., for vision and change management with required strategy planning for competitiveness, transformation, governance structures and institutions, process re-engineering to improve productivity, efficiency and happiness of citizens by providing implementation support accreditation, validation and quality standardization of processes and institutions.
To offer support and consultancy services in the fields of project management, organization restructuring, evaluation and assessment of progress reports and processes, concurrent policy review and assessment, data analysis, modelling and interpretation, artificial learning, machine learning, predictive and prescriptive forecast
To carry out pilot projects and research in emerging and critical areas of state's economic and social sectors with participation of stakeholders towards supporting economic and social sector planning in the state
To Maintain Automatic Weather Station (AWS/ARG) installed Across Andhra Pradesh and Perform calibration of AWS weather station on regular basis/li>
To Design, Prepare, maintain and forecast Real-time Weather information API’s (web service) including reliable and accurate disaster warning system for line departments like: CM Core Dashboard, Transco Dept, APSDMA, RTGS and GROUND Water Departmentand to Generate Reports, Spatial maps and Live Google Maps
To Support seasonal activities by Drought Monitoring (Dry spell & SPI). To analyse climate change impacts in the state and prepare state, district, mandal and panchayat level climate change mitigation and adaptation plans. To prepare disaster mitigation plans for all types of disasters like cyclone, floods, drought and earthquakes for the state, districts, mandals, and panchayats and integrate it with the regular planning process at state, district and panchayat levels.
To offer incubation, knowledge support to technology and social impact start-ups, offer mentorship to social impact entrepreneurs and policy students for global relevance.
To work towards Knowledge dissemination / networking by conducting seminars, conferences & other learning forums with global participation, documentation and publication of research & other projects across domains & geography
To Provide advisory on governance improvement measures capacity building, organisational restructuring, process re-engineering, e- governance, data analytics etc.
To Provide legal advisory regarding drafting bills for legislators and craft regulations for government agencies and departments, Provide research inputs to Departments, especially on innovative practices, emerging technologies, and new ideas.
To Provide in-house research and advisory on innovative practices, emerging technologies, and new ideas, and general issues of relevance as they arise
To provide advisory support to all state departments for programme planning, implementation, M&E, achieving SDG goals
Develop benchmarks and standards for inputs, processes, and out puts related to design, implementation, and evaluation objectives of APSDPS
Develop templates and model documents for activities and governance improvement interventions.
To strengthen the Planning Department and to make the departmental presence at grass root level for overseeing the implementation of central and state schemes.
To provide capacity building by organizing training programs and workshops for employees of government on new and innovative practices and technologies for effective governance and provide short-term online and long- term education, training and certificate courses, fellowships and exchange programs and related matters with no profit.
Conduct seminars and conferences, curate academic and industrial field visits, and connect learning forums that encourage global participation along with documentation and publication of research outputs across various domains and geographies.
Organize dissemination sessions on programs of the government and research outputs
To forge partnerships with reputed national and international organizations, universities, and think-tanks, so as to be able to draw on their expertise as required.
To Provide and offer its services to other clients such as state, national governments, National Organisations and International organisations and emerge as a world-class and self-sustaining organization.
To accept grants, donations, funds from the state government, Government of India, bilateral or multilateral funding agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs), semi government organizations, state government and central government undertakings, public and private companies, trusts and private individuals interested in participating in or supporting disaster mitigation activities,
To raise loans, if necessary, and
To utilize the funds and undertake the activities of the Society either directly or through government departments, state or central government undertakings, semi government organizations, NGOs or private philanthropic organizations for achieving its aims and objectives.
To Design, Develop and Maintain IT related projects of both Central and State Governments.
